Portugal National Team Trashed Super Eagles of Nigeria In Friendlies

 


The Portugal National Football team yesterday, 17th November, beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly encounter. The match which ended 4 - 0 in favour of the Portuguese team revealed how rusty the Super Eagles team is.


The match was part of the buildups in the preparation of the Portuguese team for the World Cup tournament in Qatar which is to commence in 3 days. 


The first goal of the match was netted by Bruno Fernandes at the 9' minutes. He equally converted a penalty in the 35' minutes to put the Portuguese team 2 nil ahead of the Eagles before the break.

The remaining 2 goals came during the second half of the match by G. Ramos and J. Mario at the 82' and 84' minutes respectively.

The Portuguese team where without their main man, Cristiano Ronaldo of the Manchester United football club.


Remember that Nigeria national football team failed to qualify for the world cup in Qatar after they where knock out during the qualifiers by the Black Stars of Ghana.
