Reason Why R. Kelly Was Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison

 


Robert Silvester Kelly whose stage name is R. Kelly received his sentence today after being convicted in 2021 of sexual related offences. A report that is widely available in several media, which include, BBC, CNN, Reuters, etc 



The famous American music Icon is facing a federal charge related to sex scandals for some couple of years and has been in prison awaiting sentence after being convicted.


R. Kelly who is 55-year old music Icon was convicted on Federal sex trafficking and racketeering. 


Consequently, on Wednesday the 29th of June, 2022 the Singer, song writer, producer and director was Sentenced in New York to a maximum of 30 years in prison.

  The Executive governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has gifted the players of Rivers United Football Club the sum of $20,000 (around ₦12m) for lifting the trophy and finishing top of Nigerian Professional Football League.  The governor made the promise today in the government house at event organised to receive the players, coaches and the supporters club.
